The Hodes “Fam” is a collaboration featuring Kittery Pointers Peggo and Paul Hodes, their daughter Ariana and Kent Allyn, the musical wunderkind of the seacoast. As a trio, Peggo and Paul have been performing, recording multiple albums and sharing beach bonfires at Seapoint Beach with Kent for years. Following an award-winning run of albums for children and families as Peggosus, they teamed up to record a series of acoustic oriented albums, “Patchwork Quilt, A celebration of The American Spirit”, which earned them a trip to perform at the White House, “Summer Nights” and the classic Holiday album, “Winter’s Light”. They released Peggo’s solo Jazz record, “In Love” on Parma’s Big Round Records imprint.
Their performances are always light-hearted and heartfelt featuring original folk songs, Americana, and classics. They’re joined once again by singer-songwriter Ariana Hodes. Ariana tore up the indie country charts a while back and writes really catchy songs about love and love lost. Her latest EP as “Ariana Hodes and The Longest Year” is on its way to cyber space. This annual “Valentine’s Day” show of love songs at The Dance Hall, has become a tradition to lift your spirits and make your heart sing in the depths of winter.
